| Walk around | Check for cracks, sound post placement, chin and shoulder rest security, and bridge position. Report any problems to your instructor. | before each use |
| Wipe down | Use a soft cloth to remove rosin dust from top, sides, back and bow. This stuff will harden and is difficult to remove. Relax your bow by loosening the hair. See Warnings | after each use |
| Blow out | After you have wiped the rosin off, using a blow dryer ON COOL, blow air into the F holes to blow any dust, dirt or rosin that may have accumulated. | twice a year |
