Dire consequences are the results of not heeding these warnings!
High heat and
cold are enemies of your instrument.
If you are too hot or
cold then so is your instrument. Extreme cold makes the parts of your
instrument more brittle and easier to break. High heat can cause your
instrument to permanently change shape.
If you leave your bow tensioned in a
hot place, it will loose its shape.
If you haven't cleaned it off, the
rosin will melt onto your instrument and bow.
Folks with soft cases need to remove
the bows before "undressing" their instrument.
Do not completely loosen all the
strings on your instrument, the sound post may fall!
Please do not use super glue on your instrument in any way, shape, form, or
fashion. To do so will cause extra time and expense with repairs and
will not be corrected under our maintenance agreement.
